If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live? Why?
Submitted by abcdefg81.
New York City or North Carolina. Maybe even South Carolina, since my
grandma's from there. I love going to Manhattan and just hanging out.
NC is so beautiful; in fall it's gorgeous, with the pretty foliage.
That is all.

What is your favorite scent?
Submitted by Erinen.
Vanilla body spray from Bath & Body Works. My friends' cologne. Vanilla frosting.
That's about it.
How many computers do you have in your house?

Let's see.....3 computers, two laptops. So 5 all together. We're such a nerdy family.
What food or drink do you love when it's cold out? (Recipes and recommendations, please!)

Hello. Went to see URINETOWN on Thursday. Fantabulous, I must say. Funny as all get out; best show I've seen in a long time. Didn't hurt that 3/4 of the cast are my friends. :-D Last show is tomorrow afternoon at 2. Then I get the pleasure of working strike from 4-whenever..usually around 10, maybe later. Pictures to follow probably around Monday. I love hanging out with my friends. They're the best.
Myles is jamming to Queen right now. He's sitting on Melissa's lap. Getting excited and everything.
I got my second check of the session. The amount? $400 (gross). Wasn't expecting that AT ALL. Thank God.
I'll be able to save most of it.
Going to eat fajitas now. Yumminess.
XOXO
current jam: Another One Bites the Dust - Queen
Life is alright. Corey came to visit school yesterday and that was awesome. I haven't seen her since she left for Mississippi. I almost cried when I had to say goodbye to her. I'm serious. I don't get all emotional when my friends leave and stuff. That's just a given. But Corey's my girl. She's an exception. :-D
Big things going on. Most likely won't be going to Towson next year. I might be working more hours with my job and with the probability of having 15 classes a week plus school an hour away, would be too much for me. And teaching dance is what I want to do and it'll be a great opportunity for me to teach several dance forms at my tender age of 21 (when that starts to happen).
URINETOWN starts tomorrow (Wednesday) and ends on Sunday. Very excited about seeing it. Number one: My friends are in it. And two: I worked on lighting and steaming the big toilet paper sheets and stuff like that.
Pictures.
(L-R) me, Alison, Rosa, and Amelia.
Fun times. More pictures will be around after this weekend. :D
Boyz II Men makes me happy. I actually heard "Goodbye" on Sunday morning before church. Just reminded me how much I LOVE that song.

SOOOOO...
I was sick over the weekend.. HORRIBLE. I hate being sick. And now it's finally over.
It's official - I'm the stage manager for the touring dance company this semester. Wasn't expecting that at all, but I'm ready for the challenge. I'll be in charge (in a sense) and I like that. I don't know about you, but I like being needed. *shrugs*
Today was PINK SHIRT DAY...well really, wearing the "MC Super Homeschool Club" t-shirt at school (here's the picture of a bunch of us back in May, our first Pink Shirt Day). Always a cool thing. I got a picture taken of the four of us at MC (Alison, Rosa, Amelia, and myself)...I'll post it up eventually.
I need to take more pictures; it's a stress reliever and I like that.

Today was supposed to be a LAZY SATURDAY. But no. I took Maia to the car wash (the HST kids were doing the whole thing), got my car washed. And then I proceeded to get lost towards the opposite side of the county. Hehe. I actually went all the way down to Silver Spring! I actually drove into a friend's old neighborhood and made a U-turn and went on the "right track". That was frustrating. So I was scramblin' to get back so I could relax and watch the Mets game (which they won, 12-6).
I gotta tell ya - Bobby Caldwell is an AMAZING singer. He is the purest definition of "blue eyed soul". His most famous song is "What You Won't Do For Love". If you listen to jazz stations, you have probably heard it. For the longest time, I thought he was a Black guy. LOL. And then a few months ago, my grandma brought tons of records that my Mom had up at her house, and I saw his second record, "Cat in the Hat" and I'm thinking, "Nah, that can't be the same guy..." and it was! My sisters and I started to listen to it, and it was contagious!
My favorite song "Cat" is "Coming Down From Love". I LOVE THAT SONG.
Darling, somehow now that you're gone
I have no one
I write you letters and throw them away
Only a fool keeps hanging on
When love slips away
Coming down from love
And I wonder why it takes so long
'Cause I keep holdin' on.
Y'all should check him out. Just because I said so. *muhahahaha*
Here's the music video of What You Won't Do For Love.
ALRIGHT...that's it. I did some theatre homework while watching the baseball game. *yay me!* See, I got something down on this lazy Saturday. And also, since everyone and their mothers have read them, I'm going to the library on Monday and picking up these books:
I know I will like them. Besides I need to have some leisure reading in my life, because let's face it... I NEVER READ BOOKS. I have my favorite books and that's it. Like books you find the library. So we'll see how that goes.
Hope you're having a good weekend.

Looking at the GameDay feature on the Mets' website. They're winning 4-0. I love how I can read what's happening (it's up-to-the-minute) even though I'm down in Maryland. Pretty cool.
I got this cd the other day and I love it. All the cool theme songs. I think that the Mary Tyler Moore Show theme song ("Love Is All Around") is my favorite. It could be my life's theme song.
This world is awfully big
And girl, this time you're all alone
But it's time you started living
It's time you let someone else do some giving
Love is all around
No need to waste it
You can have the town
Why don't you take it?
You might just make it after all
You might just make it after all
Yup. Well I gotta go.
XOXO

on i got a new way to walk...
